BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -IT Architect to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and
possibly 3 days remote.
As an SAP BRIM-IT Architect you will be responsible for leading the design and governance of SAP BRIM and related enterprise systems architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. This role focuses on SAP S/4HANA, BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC), and integration with external platforms such as CRM and payment gateways. The architect will collaborate with SMEs, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance systems aligned with Commonwealth standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture for SAP BRIM and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Establish standards for integration, security, and performance optimization.

Solution Implementation
- Oversee configuration and customization of SAP BRIM modules to meet business requirements.
- Ensure minimal customization by leveraging SAP best practices
Integration & Data Management
- Design integration patterns using SAP BTP, CPI, and Applied connectivity.
- Collaborate with data teams for migration strategies and deltaload planning.

Security & Compliance
- Ensure architecture meets PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security standards.
- Implement encryption, tokenization, and secure payment flows.

Governance & Documentation
- Maintain architecture diagrams, interface catalogs, and audit ready documentation.
- Document features, user stories, and technical specifications in Microsoft ADO or JIRA.

Collaboration & Leadership
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements.
- Mentor technical teams on architecture principles and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture roles, including 3+ years with SAP landscapes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) and SAP S/4HANA.
- Expertise in SAP BTP, CPI, and integration technologies (OData, IDoc, RFC).
- Strong knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and secure payment integrations.
- Experience with large-scale data migration and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP BRIM and S/4HANA certifications highly desirable.
- Experience with hybrid Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA for documentation and workflow.
- Experience with ServiceNow for post go-live support.
- Knowledge of mediation systems for usage capture and rating integrations.
