BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Project Control Specialist for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
The Project Control Specialist monitors financial and/or administrative aspects of assigned Contracts and deliverables. This individual tracks and validates all client financial information, establishes and maintains Contract files, prepares and monitors status of all deliverables, and tracks the value of Contracts. This individual uses the automated systems to track deliverables, financial transactions, and management information.
Basic Qualifications:
- This position requires a High School Diploma or the equivalent. (Bachelor’s degree is preferred)
Specialized Experience:
- The proposed candidate must have experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, and development of project schedules, using cost-accounting and labor-reporting systems, with a working knowledge of Contract and subcontract management. This individual must be proficient in the use of spreadsheets and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience working with monitoring systems. This individual must be familiar with manpower and resource planning, preparing financial reports and presentations, and cost reporting Contract guidelines.
