BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking Architect, Internet/Web for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
As an Architect, Internet/Web you will be responsible for analyzing assigned specifications, planning, designing and developing solutions, utilizing appropriate Internet/Intranet/Extranet architecture processes supporting a wide range of business process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides appropriate documentation for object design decisions, estimating assumptions, applets and performance metrics – as required by organization architecture process standards, or as assigned. Responsible for minimizing the issues between the client and the server applications and for the overall setup and design of the Internet and web server architecture. Impact and complexity of this job increases if organization is utilizing Internet solutions (vs. only Intranet), especially those with significant business impact (e.g., e-business).
Basic Qualifications:
- Preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Specialized Experience:
- At least five (5) years of IT work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has worked independently or as a part of a team under general supervision and coached more junior technical staff.
- Has Technical expert in IT organizations.
- Provide input into highly complex and high impacting decisions as it relates to area of expertise.
