BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an Application Developer, Advanced Technology -Senior, for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
As a Application Developer, Advanced Senior, must be able to translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using available technology. This individual must be able to apply new and emerging technologies to the software development process.
Key Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or five (5) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.)
Specialized Experience:
- The proposed candidate must have at least one (1) year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies including Internet protocols or web-based technology. Technologies include HTML, CGI applications, PERL or Javascript, and Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and/or equipment analysis.

This position is restricted to U.S. citizens only in accordance with federal contract requirements. Applicants must provide proof of U.S. citizenship (such as a U.S. passport, birth certificate, or Certificate of Naturalization) prior to employment.
