BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an Computer Systems Analyst, - Senior, for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
As an Computer Systems Analyst, (Senior), you will provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks; this includes the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
Key Responsibilities: The Systems Analyst Analyst, (Senior) is responsible for performing the following tasks:
A. Coordinating with the Program Manager to ensure problem solutions and user satisfaction
B. Making recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations
C. Preparing milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to

Basic Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.)
Specialized Experience:
- The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems, to include experience in Database Management Systems (DBMS), and use of programming languages. This individual must have knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The proposed candidate must have at least eight (8) years of computer experience working independently or under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis.
