BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Computer Software/Integration Analyst, (Senior) for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
As a Computer Software/Integration Analyst, Senior, your key responsibilities will be:
A. Presenting system designs for user approval at formal reviews.
B. Performing configuration management, software integration, interpreting software test results
C. Recommending solutions for unsatisfactory test results
D. Providing solutions to identified software problem reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.)
- The proposed candidate must have at least eight (8) years of progressive working experience as a computer specialist or a computer systems analyst.
Specialized Experience:
- The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst. This individual must be knowledgeable in implementing computer systems in a phased approach of requirements analysis and conceptual design, site survey, system design review, critical design review, installation, integration, and testing. This individual must be knowledgeable in performing requirements analysis for a wide range of users in areas such as office automation, finance, and accounting. This individual must be knowledgeable in life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management.
